I was first referred to Mr A.Momin , Consultant Cardiologist at St Georges Hospital Tooting In January 2024 , after an appointment with the excellent Dr Aktar of Morden Hall Medical Centre for enhanced breathlessness on exercising, a condition that had somewhat progressed during the Covid period . On our first appointment with Mr Momin , my wife and I immediately felt at ease with his professionalism. He showed us the results of an angiogram carried out by Mr F Khan at Epsom Trust Hospital explaining the defect with the aortic valve, progression, and the various methods of heart surgery available ,along with the risks involved. We followed his recommendation and surgery went ahead in April 2024. The surgery was successful, and due to the expertise of Mr Momin and Mr Chandrasekaran, the pain was nothing compared to what I was told to expect. I was walking about the ward within 3 days of surgery. I am now at home and 4 weeks later off the pain killers and slowly getting back to normal . I am most grateful to Mr A Momin and his team, as well as all the staff at the Benjamin Weir Ward at St Georges who were faultless . I once again thank and highly recommend Mr Momin for his care and dedicated support and for giving me many extra years with my family. Maurice D’souza

Mr Momin performed a triple CABG on me in March and I have to say that he was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. My operation went extremely well and I was able to leave hospital 5 days later, with no real issues at all. I have no hesitation in recommending him and am extremely happy with the care and service I received under his care.

The 8th of November 2023 was the day I got back my life and my health when I found myself in the blessed caring hands of Dr. Aziz Momin - and for this, my family and I thank The Lord and will be forever grateful. I had a stent put in two years ago after my heart attack and over this period I experienced continuous discomfort and pain with various complications. I had many consultations and several tests done with no relief. It is only through the professional expertise of Dr Momin and his team that I was finally identified for an urgent Triple Bypass Surgery which was carried out at St George University Hospital The pre-surgery and post-care received have been nothing short of Excellent! We were talked through the whole procedure and this gave us a lot of strength and confidence. Dr. Momin organized my surgery and went the extra mile by keeping my loved ones updated on how my surgery went. He and his team visited me daily and were very encouraging in my recovery. Undoubtedly; Dr. Momin is an amazing, highly skilled, professional, caring, and empathetic Medical professional. His bedside manner is the best for he is easy to talk to and he genuinely cares for his patients. The follow-up visits and guidance under him have been equally supportive and encouraging. After thanking My Lord, I express my sincere thanks from the bottom of my heart to Dr Momin and all the superb staff at the Benjamin Wier Ward, St George Hospital; for their excellent care and kindness. On 11 Nov, my husband had a massive heart attack, had a stent fitted which saved his life and then found out he’d need a triple bypass within two weeks or so. All very shocking and scary. We tried to find a cardiac thoracic surgeon to help us through this scary time. And that’s when we met Mr Momin. . From that first meeting we could see Mr Momin was a great doctor. He took time to explain the details and options in a clear, direct and polite manner. He did a thorough look into my husband’s history with care and enthusiasm to fix my husband’s heart and get him better. Every point Mr Momin outlined to us went exactly like he said. His superb administrative team Debbie and Donna handling all the procedure admission prep to lovely Georgia his cardiac nurse and the rest of his the amazing team he put together at Cromwell Hospital Mr Antanas Macys and Mr A Khosravi and Dr Shane George to help my husband. Mr Momin even called me after the operation to let me know how things had gone and when I could see my husband. Mr Momin is without doubt an excellent and amazing surgeon. He saved my husband’s life. For that we are truly grateful. Mr Momin and his team visited my husband daily during his short stay post operatively and within a couple of days I was pleasantly surprised to see my husband on his feet walking around. It’s now Day 12 since the op and my husband’s stitches came out today. Thank you Mr Momin for helping us through a very scary time in our lives. Your professionalism, incredible skill, excellent bedside manner and the team you put together is top class! Not all heroes wear capes.

Mr Momin carried out my husband's triple bypass on 14 November 2023 at the Cromwell Hospital. He talked us through the operation in advance and instilled confidence in his abilities. I greatly appreciated his contact with me post-surgery and his advice to us on after-care. We cannot speak highly enough of Mr Momin, his expertise and how approachable he has been. We must also mention all the nursing care received at the Cromwell, especially from Georgia Henson the Cardiology and Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist and Sharon Jones, the Diabetic and Endocrinology Clinical Nurse Specialist. We found the partnership between Mr Momin and Georgia to be invaluable as it truly felt like a team effort where we had continuity of care.
